Walt Disney World has dozens of table-service restaurants. A handful are designated "signature" — two table-service credits on the Disney Dining Plan, higher price points, and a dining experience that goes beyond a theme park meal. These are the three that consistently deliver.
Disney's only AAA Five Diamond restaurant. Located in the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Prix fixe menu with multiple courses, wine pairings, and tableside service that rivals any restaurant in the country. Reservations are required and book out months in advance. Dress code enforced — jackets required for gentlemen. This is a special occasion restaurant in every sense.
Inside Cinderella Castle. Character dining with Disney princesses. The food is good — not extraordinary, but solid — and the experience is unlike anything else in any theme park. For families with young children, particularly daughters, the memory of dining inside the castle with the princesses is priceless. Book at exactly 60 days out.
Technically not a park restaurant, but the best seafood at Walt Disney World. Fresh oysters, excellent lobster bisque, and a waterfront setting with vintage amphicars that give tours of the lake. Reservations recommended but walk-ins are possible during off-peak hours. No dining plan credits — but worth every dollar out of pocket.
Jim's Tip: For Victoria & Albert's, book as early as possible — ideally 180 days out if you're a Disney resort guest. For Cinderella's Royal Table, set an alarm for 6 a.m. on your 60-day booking window. For The BOATHOUSE, try for a late lunch to avoid the dinner rush.
